Who we are

Illumea is a technology studio and the controller of the personal information collected through this site. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us using the details in the "Contact us" section below.

Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you submit it through one of our two forms:

• Contact form: your name, email address, company, phone or WhatsApp number, details about your project (its stage, needs and timeline), and your message.
• Careers application: your full name, email address, phone number, current country, expected compensation, Telegram handle, any additional information or links you add, and the résumé file you upload.

We do not operate an account system, and we do not track or profile you as you browse the site.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to:

• respond to your enquiry and continue the conversation with you; and
• review and evaluate your job application.

We never sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this site and handle your messages. They process your data on our behalf:

• Resend delivers the emails generated by our forms — including any résumé you upload, which is sent as an email attachment — to our Illumea inboxes.
• Cloudflare provides our hosting and content delivery, the Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms, and our cookieless Web Analytics.

These providers act as our processors and may only use your data to provide their service to us.

Cookies and analytics

We use a single functional cookie that remembers your language preference (English or Ukrainian). Our analytics, provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, are cookieless and do not identify you.

Because we set no advertising or tracking cookies, we do not show a cookie-consent banner.

Files you upload

Any résumé you attach to a careers application reaches us as an email attachment. We do not store uploaded files in a separate database.

How long we keep your information

We keep the information you send us only for as long as we need it to respond to your enquiry or evaluate your application. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Ukrainian data-protection law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

International transfers

Our providers, Resend and Cloudflare, may process your information on servers outside Ukraine — for example in the European Union or the United States — under the standard safeguards set out in their own data-protection terms.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
